Commitments for Funding Year 2018
Funding Year 2018. USAC released Funding Year (FY) 2018 Wave 10 FCDLs on June 15. As of June 15, FY2018 commitments total over $1.18 billion.
On the date that FCDLs are issued, you can access your FCDL notification from the Notifications section of your landing page in the E-rate Productivity Center (EPC).
Newly Deployed EPC Modifications
On Tuesday, June 12, 2018, we deployed the following modifications to help program participants:
FCC Form 486

State E-rate coordinators should now be able to access FCC Form 486 Notification Letters for applicants in their state by selecting the "FCC Form 486 Notification Letter" under Notification Type section of their EPC landing page.

The pipe-delimited ".486" CSV file issued to the service provider will no longer display the column header names.
The Schools and Libraries (E-rate) Program issues a weekly newsletter – the Schools and Libraries (SL) News Brief – to provide information about upcoming deadlines, training events, system updates and timely program guidance. We also issue occasional Special Edition News Briefs on specific, time-sensitive topics.
This newsletter is posted in EPC as a News item and on USAC's website as an SL Latest News post and in the SL News Brief archive.
Search the archive
Each newsletter published this year is saved in the archive by topic(s) and by the date the newsletter was published. SL News Briefs from the past two years are also available. To view the newsletter in the archive,

Select the tab for Topic or Date.

Click the links provided to open a copy of the SL News Brief. The links are labeled by the date the newsletter was published.
Search EPC News
The news brief is also posted in EPC under the News tab. To search for the newsletter in your EPC News feed,

Go to the News tab.

Type "SL news" in search box. The search tool is located in the left corner of the screen (under the USAC logo).

Press the Enter key to view past editions of the newsletter.
How to subscribe
USAC also emails the weekly SL News Brief to program participants that subscribe to the newsletter. If you are not currently subscribed, and would like to receive E-rate news each week:

Enter your first and last name and email address.

Select the box for "SL News Brief."

Click Subscribe.
