System Outage Notifications for This Weekend
This weekend, USAC is conducting maintenance of multiple systems which could impact program participants.
On Friday, August 24, there will be an outage of USAC’s E-File system and the Schools and Libraries (E-rate) Program legacy systems from 9:00 pm through Saturday, August 25 at 10:00 am EDT.

The E-File login page will be unavailable and users will be unable to file, certify, and search for FCC Forms 498 or 499.

Online FCC forms for contributors, service providers, and eligible telecommunications carriers will not be accessible.

Legacy system users will be unable to file invoices, use the BEAR training site or access some search tools.

E-rate Productivity Center (EPC) users may experience related system slowness or intermittent outages.
EPC and the EPC training site will be unavailable from Sunday, August 26 at 7:00 pm through Monday, August 27 at 1:00 am EDT for monthly system maintenance. During this time, users will be unable to log in to EPC.

Commitments for Funding Year 2018
Funding Year 2018. USAC plans to release Funding Year (FY) 2018 Wave 20 Funding Commitment Decision Letters (FCDLs) later today. As of August 24, FY2018 commitments will total over $1.68 billion.
On the date that FCDLs are issued, you can access your FCDL notification from the Notifications section of your landing page in EPC.

USAC's Schools and Libraries Division has a number of open positions currently posted on its website, and additional positions will be posted in the next several weeks. We invite members of the E-rate community to review those postings and, if you meet the qualifications for one or more of those open positions, to apply.

Go to the About USAC page. (If you have bookmarked the Schools and Libraries main page, click the About USAC link to the left of the Schools and Libraries link at the top of the page.)

From the left-hand menu under RESOURCES & TOOLS, click Careers.

Scroll to the bottom of the Careers page and click the Search Positions button.

You can find all open positions by clicking the Search button, or you can first select "Schools and Libraries" from the Category list and then click the Search button to see the E-rate–related openings.

At the top of your search results on the right-hand side of your screen, you can use the Sort By... function to organize your search results.
Positions at USAC do not have an automatic expiration date; they remain posted until they are filled.
Due Date Reminder for Comments on the Draft FY2019 Eligible Services List
Comments on the draft Eligible Services List for FY2019 are due to the FCC on or before August 29, 2018. Reply comments are due to the FCC on or before September 13, 2018. For information on filing comments with the FCC, please refer to the Public Notice (DA 18-789) issued by the FCC on July 30, 2018.
